Niamh Matthews

I'm a PhD Candidate in Archaeology at the University of Exeter with experience in publishing, field archaeology, and customer service.

From 2019-2020 I was the Social Secretary for the University of Manchester Japanese Society. During my time at the University of Manchester (2018-2022) I wrote for a number of independent fiction magazines. As of 2022-2025 I worked as a freelance equine groom. I have interned at London Book Fair with Eden Interactive Ltd. in 2023. In 2024 I took part in a test dig with the University of Chester. My current position is as a sales assistant while I research for my PhD.
