Nicola Wills

I currently work in the Nottingham Multiagency Safeguarding Hub.  I am trained Adult Nurse and Health Visitor.  I have worked as a Looked After Children’s Nurse and previously worked with teenage parents as a Family Nurse.  I have been a qualified nurse since 2013.

I qualified as ab adult nurse in 2014.  I worked as a Health Visitor in Haringey, London from 2014- 2016 and during that time I also completed a secondment with the safeguarding team at the Whittington Hospital as a Paediatric Liaison Nurse.  I then worked with teenage parents in Tottenham as a Family Nurse from 2016-2019 until I relocated to Leicester with my family.  I worked as a Looked After Children’s Nurse across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland and specialising in working with Unaccompanied Asylum Seekers from 2019-2022. Since 2022 I have worked in the Nottingham Multiagency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) coordinating the health team.  As part of my current role I line manage, attend and contribute to strategy discussions, MARAC and Child Criminal Exploitation and Sexual Exploitation meetings.  I also support the wider safeguarding team with providing safeguarding training and safeguarding supervision to staff.

I have a 2:1 BSc in adult nursing from Bucks New University (2013)

I have a Specialist Community Public Health Nursing Postgraduate Diploma from Kings College London (2015).
