About Nitish Bhatt:

I am a vastly experienced Hotel Cluster General Manager, working across renowned luxury businesses, including Park Grand London Hotels (London), Jumeirah Beach Hotel (Dubai), Sheraton Hotel (Dubai), Metropolitan Hotel (Dubai) and The Trident Oberoi (KSA). I bring a strong background in leading the day-to-day operations of high-end establishments, directing a number of teams, including housekeeping, front of house, customer service, food & beverage and maintenance throughout multi-sites to align standards, processes and procedures with hotel and best practice frameworks.

I am also experienced in various stages of Park Grand London hotels refurbishment projects, including both full and soft refurbishments. Proficient in managing projects from start to finish, ensuring seamless transitions and delivering exceptional results. Skilled in coordinating with stakeholders, overseeing budgets, and implementing strategic plans to achieve successful hotel transformations.

Being known for my strong commercial aptitude, consistently applying back-office and front-of-house improvements, increasing productivity and performance to deliver annual cost savings with zero impact on customer experience and hotel reputation. Team leadership is an area in which I excel, and I ensure open, transparent and accountable team communication; lending a coaching and mentoring approach to increase team knowledge and support professional development.

Experience

My career to date has allowed me to develop a highly transferable skill-set, owing to the
variety of roles undertaken across my 25 year career in Hospitality, most recently working as
a Cluster General Manager (managing 3 sites: 4* Park Grand London Paddington, 4* Park
Grand Hyde Park International and 4* Park Grand London Hyde Park).
However, after a successful tenure, and I am now looking to undertake a new professional
challenge where I can utilise my aptitude for multi-site hotel management, leadership, change
management, guest experience management, staff empowerment and operational planning.
In my current role as a Cluster General Manager across 3 4* prestigious hotels, my role
entails devising and implementing robust operational strategies to facilitate a consistent level
of operational excellent across all 3 sites, therefore promoting guest satisfaction/retention,
driving revenue growth and ensuring operational efficiency.
As such, during my tenure, I have successfully transformed the Park Grand London
Paddington from 4 star to 4 star gold category AA certificate (2010) by providing an
exceptional service to our guests, as well as a nurturing environment for my staff.
Moreover, during my tenure in this role, I have also devised and mobilised a highly successful
revenue generation strategy in order to increase our F&B revenue. Previously, we found a lot
of our guests were dining outside of the hotel due to abundance of choice available locally in
terms of restaurants and bars. In order to combat this, I devised a strategy, which targeted
our corporate clientele. This entailed promoting our in-hotel restaurant to corporate guests, in
order to ensure they were able to eat conveniently after a busy day. Indeed, I feel this
achievement showcases both my strong commercial acumen and my ability to fuse this with
bespoke guest requirements to ensure they have a fantastic stay with us.
As a leader, I would classify myself as an individual who supports my staff in an individualised
and professional manner, and often work in collaboration with my staff to determine how I can
get the best out of them. As a personable individual who enjoys coaching and empowering
staff, I relish developing a work culture that revolves around positivity, staff engagement and
welfare and accountability.
In my previous role as a General Manager for the Park Grand London Paddington, I secured
many notable achievements. Following managing the successful opening of the Paddington
branch in 2009, I led the hotel to achieving the AA Award ‘Best Accommodation of AA’ in 2011.
On a personal note, I am motivated to continue to forge a long-term career hoping to
establish long-lasting professional relationships within my next role.
