I am a passionate London Artist with over 20 years’ experience in the creative and applied arts as both an educator and maker

May 2022-present             Art consultant, Royal College of Psychiatrists  

                                                  -In this role I am advising on and researching the college’s extensive 

                                                  portrait collection. 

Sep 2010-Aug 2021         Head of Art, Design and Technology at St.Anthony's School.

                                                  Oversight of the ADT curriculum taught across the school           

                                                  as well as teaching the subject to all students in the Senior House.  

                                                  Tenure highlights: 

                                                  -Putting on a dedicated exhibition of my entire Y6 student’s sculpture work at                

                                                  the Saatchi gallery for a fortnight in July 2018.

                                                  -Designing and leading in the creation of props backdrops and costumes for 

                                                  all the school drama productions. 

                                                   -Entering students into and winning prizes in numerous competitions                  

                                                   including The Fourth Plinth schools’ competition (we received an award on      

                                                    five consecutive years 2015-2019).

Jan 2010 – July 2010        Artist in residence, Prendergast Ladywell Fields College.

                                                This post involved leading a group of 24 students through 3 projects                  

                                                    including a giant mask making parade for Lewisham People’s day and a  

                                                     stop frame animation project to create learning resources for the French 

                                                    department.  

Sep 2009 – Dec 2009       Art Teacher at Prendergast Ladywell Fields College.

                                                This post included teaching KS3-4 and teaching weekly PSHE lessons to my 

                                                   yr11 tutor group.

Sep 2008-July 2009 NQT Art and Photography Teacher, Darrick Wood Secondary                                         

                                                    This post included teaching KS3-5, running KS3 Art club, designing and 

                                                   painting the backdrop for the school productions.

Nov 2006– Nov 2007      GTP Art and Graphics teacher, Beaverwood Girls Secondary 

                                                   Beaverwood Girls Secondary School, Bromley Schools Collegiate. This post           

                                                    included teaching  KS3-5, running KS3 Art club and putting on an Exhibition  

                                                  of KS3 Art work which was covered in the local press.
