With over 22 years of experience in airside, terminal, and ground operations at Dubai International Airport, one of the world’s busiest aviation hubs.  I have developed extensive expertise in airport planning, stand allocation, safety management, and stakeholder coordination. Having relocated to the UK, I am eager to contribute my operational knowledge and leadership skills to enhance airport efficiency and safety in line with CAA, IATA, and ICAO standards.

Throughout my career, I have successfully managed large-scale operations, ensuring on-time performance, regulatory compliance, and effective resource utilization. In my role as Senior Airside Controller, I led teams overseeing real-time aircraft stand allocation and emergency coordination, achieving measurable improvements in operational reliability. My background also includes SOP and SLA design, airport capacity planning, and crisis management, skills that align closely with the needs of modern UK airports and aviation service providers.

In my current capacity as Director at Aviation Ops Consulting UK, I provide advisory and safety consulting services, developing operational documentation and conducting safety audits for aviation clients. Expert consulting in airport operations, Terminal planning, and Airside safety. Services include developing SOPs, SLAs, and tailored operational documents, as well as conducting incident investigations and root cause analysis. Ensure compliance with UK CAA, ICAO, IATA, and other global standards, while providing safety assessments, efficiency reviews, and guidance on operational readiness and emergency response.


Senior Airside Controller (Airside Stand Planning & Ramp operation)
DUBAI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT [ 03/2016 – 30/10/2024]

Monitor Ramp, Daily runway inspection Airside stands, Taxiways, and Terminal exteriors, logging incidents and security concerns. Provide a summary report to management at the end of each shift.

Solid understanding of airport systems, including Ramp operation stand planning, Real time stand Allocation, RMS systems, and slot approval are required.

To constantly keep an eye on all incoming, outgoing, and repositioning aircraft and to only make tactical adjustments as necessary to maintain the integrity of the daily operation.

To proactively address any incident or emergency and retain operation control by efficiently coordinating and engaging with stakeholders as necessary to guarantee business continuity and quickly return the airport to regular operations.

Implement and adhere to the emergency standard operating procedures (ESOPs) in order to lessen the effects of any disruption to the standby plan.

To guarantee a smooth operation and On Time Departures during the shift, monitor and coordinate all
teams both below and above the wing.

Coordinating the boarding of passengers, the loading of the aircraft, connections from arriving flights, the airside staffing and equipment for each departing flight, and the inspection for anomalies.


Senior Airport Planner (Terminal Resource Planning)
DUBAI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT [ 02/2011 – 03/2016]

Solid understanding of airport systems, including , Forecast-based planning , Check-in Counters Planning, Baggage belt Planning, RMS systems, and ARR/DEP Slot Planning.

To constantly keep an eye on all incoming, outgoing, and repositioning aircraft and to only make tactical adjustments as necessary to maintain the integrity of the daily operation.

To take proactive measures in managing incidents or emergencies, maintaining operational control by effectively coordinating with stakeholders as needed to ensure business continuity and swiftly restore normal airport operations..

to monitor the airside, evaluate the likelihood of accidents, and notify the appropriate stakeholder(s).

Follow the normal SOPs and SLA, and make sure that any interruption to aircraft operations is always kept to a minimum.


Airport Capacity Controller
DUBAI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT [ 01/2008 – 01/2011]

Oversee the operation of the shift-based slot allocation, slot change requests, and slot adherence, Slot Violation and escalate deviations to management.

Monitoring, receiving, and updating AFTN messages is part of the tactical capacity control that ensures airlines perform within the slot system.

Create recurring slot adherence reports for the Management's PSC (Passenger Service Charges) Updates.

Monitoring, data collection, and reporting on the performance of Critical Touchpoints for both Airports Handling BDRMS (Boarding Deplaning Route Management System).

Support for identifying hazards associated with facilities or unsafe/safe practices.

Responsible for working with ATC to divert a non-slotted aircraft landing at DXB or DWC to another location if necessary.

Airline Senior Data Analyst
DUBAI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT [ 01/2006 – 01/2008]

Ensure that the system only contains authorized registrations with the appropriate IATA and ICAO codes.

Coordinate data formats and inconsistencies with DCA/DAC divisions, Airlines, and handling agents.

Maintain all GCAA, IATA, and ICAO codes WHILE utilizing UFIS Schedule inputs. IATA, websites on the Internet, etc. are used for manual search.
