Omeid Rahmani

I have extensive experience in petroleum industrial ventures and have delivered projects in carbon capture storage utilisation (CCSU), enhanced oil recovery, drilling fluids and additives, source rocks evaluation, and reservoir characterizations with relevant computational modellings. With autonomous academic administration and industrial trials, the key points are highlighted:
▪ Endorsed by the “Royal Academy of Engineering” as the UK Global Talent Exceptional Promise on 29th January 2024.
▪ Achieved the Fellow (FHEA) status in recognition of attainment against the UK Professional Standards Framework for teaching and learning support in higher education - AdvanceHE in November 2023.
▪ Named one of the “Top 2% of Scientists in the World” in the Energy section by Stanford University in 2021, 2022, and 2023.
▪ Being an editor of 29 manuscripts [PLOS One: 2022 impact factor of 3.7], a reviewer of 310 manuscripts, publishing 36 ISI papers [of them 19 correspondences] and 3 books, supervising and an external examiner of 10 PhD candidates [from UTM, UTP, UM, UKH, and Soran University].
