I am a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse with many years of experience in community and primary care settings. Delivering safe, effective and person-centred care has been the foundation of my professional practice. I am committed to promoting health, preventing illness and supporting individuals to maintain their independence, comfort and dignity.

Throughout my career, I have developed strong clinical, assessment and communication skills. I value building therapeutic relationships with patients and their families, ensuring that care is not only evidence-based but also respectful and supportive. I am confident in managing a varied workload, prioritising effectively and working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive outcomes.

I am an experienced Registered Nurse with an extensive background in community, primary care and general practice settings. My clinical experience includes chronic disease management such as diabetes, asthma and COPD reviews, hypertension monitoring, cardiovascular risk assessment, cervical screening, childhood and travel immunisations, wound care, and health promotion.

I have worked in both clinical and leadership roles, including community nursing and district nursing leadership, where I supported multidisciplinary teams, coordinated patient care and ensured high standards of practice. My experience also includes emergency assessment, medication management, patient education, and supporting individuals with complex and long-term conditions in both surgical and community settings.

Throughout my career, I have remained committed to delivering safe, evidence-based, and person-centred care while maintaining strong professional standards and pursuing continuous development in nursing practice.

I hold a Higher Diploma in Adult Nursing, which provided the foundation for my registration as a nurse and established my core clinical knowledge and competencies in patient assessment, care planning and evidence-based practice.

I later completed a BSc in District Nursing (Specialist Community Practice), which strengthened my expertise in community-based care, leadership, public health and the management of patients with complex and long-term conditions.

In addition, I achieved a Graduate Certificate in Specialist Teaching Practice, enhancing my skills in mentorship, clinical supervision and education. This has supported my ability to teach, assess and guide students and colleagues within clinical environments.

Together, my education reflects a strong academic foundation in nursing practice, community health, leadership and professional development.
