I am a finance student, currently at the University of Essex, I'm very passionate about achieving a career that allows for work-life balance, travel opportunities, and a good salary. I have a strong foundation in financial principles, including financial analysis, budgeting, and investment strategies, with experience at working with basic financial software and tools such as Sage 50, having studied accounting and finance through my college years until now whilst at university.

In addition to my technical skills, I possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, which allow me to effectively collaborate with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders. I have the ability to analyse complex financial data and communicate it in a clear and concise manner, being able to break it down and decipher complex terminologies to those who may not understand it. My problem-solving skills are exceptional, and I find myself able to identify and address issues quickly and effectively.

My passion for finance and my dedication to achieving your career goals make me an excellent candidate for a variety of roles within the finance industry. I have the skills and minimum experience necessary to succeed in positions such as a junior financial analyst, consultant, investment banker, financial planner, or corporate finance professional.

Apart from my education, I currently have minimal experience within the field of finance however I wish and my aim is to change that and gain some time on the job before I graduate. During my time at college in London, I had participated in the “Barclays Beyond Programme”, based in their headquarters Canary Wharf. I had the privilege to not only network but have private meetings with seasoned professionals and graduates within the industry ranging from a mix of different departments such as investment banking, private/global and corporate banking, tech as well as cyber and so on. This enabled me not only to gain knowledge towards each departments role but how it contributes to the economy today, which will only begin to thrive, adapt and advance in the future. This is what has fuelled my passion towards the world of finance, working in a fast pace environment, where every day is different from the last, it can never get boring and its something I not only admire, but want to do. Previously, I have been in and out of different job positions whilst during my seasonal breaks in schhol/college/university, ranging from being a receptionist, customer service, 1st class delivery service portering and the supervising of SEN children.
