About Oscar Leon:

Hello, my name is Oscar and I'm a unique type of UX professional. With a background in rooted in the world of science and methodology, I bring a distinct perspective to research, data analysis, metric identification, and test design. My design training coupled with my analytical approach sets me apart in my field. Additionally, I have experience building and leading teams across multiple time zones, keeping everyone on track.
My strengths lie in my ability to keep sight of the big picture and to understand processes as a system. I am a user advocate at every level, ensuring that interactions, decisions, and requirements meet their needs. I excel at recruiting allies at all levels and listening to people instead of jumping to solutions. These skills make me successful in selling ideas to senior leadership.
Currently, I work as part of a design team where I mentor and encourage good professional practices. No one is above feedback or criticism, and I help the team navigate the relationships between design, product, and technology. I implement and encourage the use of healthy and proven practices and methodologies within the agile and lean frameworks.
