About me:

Good morning my Name is Paula and I look forward to meeting  you. I am  customer/community focused and people person . I love problem solving and seeing people happy, I love chatting and finding out a persons story even if it is relayed in a small amount of time. I am an animal lover who fosters animals for the RSPCA in my spare time. I walk alot in the countryside when i get chance. I am a family person who has a partner and two grown up children who have both chosen to teach in Foreign country's after University, I am so proud!.

Education:

 I came out of school with 5 CSEs but through my work with my current employer I have. 

Nvq level 3 in youth work.

Accredited officer / police accreditation.

And training in , fraud in the workplace,Health and safety, equality training, lone worker training, these I refresh in every year.

 I Have also been a volunteer peer mentor for young people putting them through thier paces and Hampshire Fire and rescue.

Won an award for inovation within the community  from the Deputy Prime minister in 2004. 

 

Experience:

Currently and since 2003 I have been an Accredited Community Safety Officer. I have  3 large beat areas where my job is to problem solve lots of differnt situations in the community and deal with Antisocial behaviour with the aid of powers to fine if needed and more importantly to calm situations Down and draw situations to a peaceful and successful conclusion, a big part is getting to know everyone who lives and works on those areas. I work in a multi agency environment.  In the course of my duty I also work with people with learning difficulties and teach in primary and senior education. I love working with a wide range of people and enjoy bringing situations that hopefully and ideally make residents lives better.  My work is emotional, physical and mental. 

I am looking for work that still has all the challenges I face now and the diversity of people but one that I can loose the body armour which is very uncomfortable in the summer and also pays an excellent wage.
