Personal Statement:
I am currently looking for Part Time or Full Time Employment in Retail and Care roles suitable to my age group and experience. I need to enhance my retirement income and am very fit and active and well suited to fit in with any team and believe I have always been an excellent and committed team member.
Professional experience and background:
I have many years’ experience in the design industry and am now actively seeking full employment and a challenging role. This background has meant presenting and interacting with people of all nationalities and understanding and communicating detailed information.
I am an experienced, qualified practical and energetic interior and project management consultant who has succeeded in implementing and delivering both commercial and public sector projects. With over 30 years experience in project specification and implementation management, my principal focus has been on project management, design specification, contracting and procurement. This has included the bidding and management of major design and installation contracts in all interior environments and includes extensive experience with product technical development. I have a background in national and international liaison for these contracts with suppliers and manufacturers to supply government and commercial organisations with long term partners.
This has included both the preparation of contract information and also the display in exhibition or sample formats to major clients throughout my career which has developed my public engagement skills and abilities to work with many different groups within varied organisations and gain experience in delivering a wide range of services.
I have always worked as part of team whether presenting or training within national and local commercial or public sector projects or installing and fitting complex specifications on sites in a wide range of buildings. These projects have been delivered against construction and manufacturing industry standards and practices which have required complex organisational skills and good personal communication abilities to manage both the on-site teams and maintain the confidence and effective working relationship with the client and the public.

This a Saturday only situation based in their Tenterden office and is a fully employed position with holiday and sickness benefit etc. It involves showing prospective buyers’ properties within the Wards Tenterden catchment area with hours 9am to 5pm. The use of my own vehicle with claimable milage allowance is included.
- Newspaper Roundsman:

This is based in Small Hythe, Tenterden, and involves a daily newspaper delivery round of approximately 90 drops seven days per week commencing at 3.15 am each morning. The delivery round includes Small Hythe, Wittersham and Rolvenden.
This is a fully employed situation with paid holiday and sickness benefits as appropriate. It involved the use of my own car and cost of petrol and maintenance etc.
- Dairy Roundsman:
Plurenden Partnership Dairy:
Since 29th October 2021:
This is a daytime only milk, dairy and grocery items delivery round covering the mainly rural areas of Biddenden, Sissinghurst, Cranbrook, Smarden, Egerton and Pluckley and includes the use of their own van and diesel fuel provided. The days worked are Tuesdays and Fridays only and this is a contract self-employed position.
I hope that this brief overview demonstrates my current experience of working in different situations and with interacting with people and an understanding of the various systems in use, particularly the similar delivery software in operation with both Jackie’s News and Plurenden Dairy.

My design and development work at this government agency was comprehensive and across the entire government estate including royal palaces and parks, government departments, educational establishments, and overseas embassies. My role involved product design and development, technical and safety specification.
