I am responsible, reliable, and extremely hard-working individual. I like being productive and taking part in different activities. I am a quick learner and always well organized to ensure I meet set targets. I can work independently; however, I enjoy working as part of a team, particularly with fresh challenges. Last year I have successfully completed BSc (Hons) Biomedical Studies at the University of Salford which helped me to become a Laboratory Scientists at MDC lighthouse Laboratory where I have handled several tests on patient samples to discover SARS-CoV-2 Virus infection. I am seeking out a Trainee Biomedical Scientist position to complete my HCPC portfolio. I have flexible availability and ready for full-time positions.    

I have gained wide range of experiences during my 3 years of BSc degree. My project research was about the relationship between obesity and Alzheimer's disease where we used fibroblast cells and treat them with adipokines to see the difference. During this project I have learnt a technique called MTT assay which is essential in any cell culture. With this project I have learnt many things like trypsinization, freezing down cells, cell counting, platting cells and using different machinery for results. In my first and second year I experienced working in different experiments every week from different modules which taught me to work professionally and safety in a laboratory and I have also learnt how to keep tidy the workplace.I have experienced using different laboratory procedures like microscope to spot cells, handling with toxic chemicals, weighting the samples correctly and precise to use pipette. For each experiment that I have done in the laboratory, I have written a report about it in a scientific term which helped me improve my scientific terminology.
