About Rachael Gillies:

Hi, my name is Rachael. I started working in Care towards the end of 2023, after studying my level 3 extended Health and Social Care at East Durham College.

I am passionate about supporting and encouraging others in any way that I possibly can.

A skill that I like about myself is being person centred and putting everyone else’s needs before my own. I believe that is what we need in this world going forward to make it a nicer place.

Experience

Since gaining my level 3 extended Health and Social Care qualification at College, I began working at a local Care Home.

I have now been here for just over a year.

Working in a Care Home has taught me to be strong and resilient as it can come with a lot of emotional situations.

Education

My most recent education was East Durham College. In my first year I studied Level 3 Health and Social Care, and then went on to do my Level 3 Extended in my second year.
