Rachel Chapman

I am a positive and friendly person with a thirst for knowledge and motivated by achievement. I gained a bachelors degree in Events Management with a 1st. I have gained expereince in varied roles but find I love being creative, organised and enjoy helping the customer experience. I come from a military family and have been educated at a military boarding school, and have been taught that hardwork and perserverence will never let you down and thrive putting my hard efforts into all my tasks. In my spare time I love to read, try out new hobbies and being generally activie from hikes to wild swimming. I also have experience with volunterring for charities and raising moneys for charioties such as Cash for Kids in the north west by putting on events. I began working in an office environment from the age of 18 in varied roles from national accounts to advertising sales. I went to work abroad and relocated up to the north of england where I worked as a bar suprevisor until I began a degree at the University of Central Lancashire where i then worked in hospitality at the Marriott in Broughton alongside my degree. Unfortunately due to the pandemic like many, I was furloughed but this gave me an amazing opprtunity to work as a behaviour support mentor in the health and social care industry. Providing me knowledge and training working with those on the spectrum and with learning difficulties after this as the world returned back to normal i set off to find something with a bit more portential for growth and found myself working sales jobs, my latest being working from home. As this is my first time wirking from home i ahve learned that it is not suited to msyelf and after moving to Poulton Le Fylde I am now looking for a job I can work hard in but would particularly like to move away from hard sales.

I have been educated at the Royal Hospital School where I gained 7 GCSE's: English Language A, English Literature A, Mathematics B, Science A , Additional Science A*, Religious Studies A, Citizenship A. 

I gained AS levels at Colchester Sixth Form College being Early Modern History and English Language and fine art however, I had to post-pone my education for family reasons. I relocated up north where I attended Lancaster and Morecambe College and received my access to higher education diploma where I achieved a level 3 Sociology, level 3 Psychology and level 2 & 3 Criminology. 

I then went on the attend the University of Central Lancashire where I achieved a 1st class with honours in my bachelors degree for Events Management. I achieved a Deans List Award and Excellence in Academic Achievement scholarship coming top of my class.
