Rachel Dowds

I am a hard working individual who has 10 years of experience working in different care settings. 

I have worked in different care settings over the last 10 years. I have experience working within a care home setting for permanent residents and also currently work in a short breaks service where I am a acting senior manager for adults which is based around Respite, Adult Support and Protection cases and also intermediate beds for service users who have been transferred from hospital while waiting for extra services such as packages of care or physio. I have worked in Forth Valley Royal hospital as a auxiliary nurse and worked through out the hospital and different ward settings. I have knowledge and experience of IT skills and work on a computer on a daily basis setting up service user paperwork and accessing social work information. I have medication training and have administered medication through out my experience in care.  I have 2 summer experiences working at Camp America in a camp for people with learning and physical disabilities and was also in charge of a cabin of 12 staff and 12 service users. 

I have my SVQ Health and Social Care Level 2 qualification. I have also recently finished my SVQ level 3 Health and Social Care and currently waiting my certification for this.
