Experience

Contracts Director with over 25 years experience in public sector contract management, overseeing the contract life cycle and day to day management of multiple contracts. Heading a support team , offering outstanding customer service support.

  • Overseeing the management of multiple contracts throughout their lifetime (turnover >£45m p/a)
  • Tendering for new business and re-tendering for existing contracts: including completion, submission, presentation and mobilisation
  • Managing a support team with responsibility for day-to-day queries, pricing, sampling and complaints - ensuring high standards of customer service, compliance with contractual terms and conditions and customer satisfaction throughout 
  • Maintaining contract price files, conducting price reviews and negotiations
  • Conducting review meetings to ensure contract compliance and encourage business development, promoting the company’s existing range of products to foster growth and increase turnover
  • Monitoring and reporting on contract performance: monthly sales, Key Performance Indicators, customer complaints and service issues - ensuring compliance with contract terms and conditions
  • Liaising with suppliers and customers, providing guidance and advice on Company procedures, product range/suitability and contractual requirements
  • Working alongside the Commercial Director to expand and improve the existing product range, nurturing relationships with new and existing suppliers, sourcing new innovate products
  • Co-ordination of supplier presentations and events
  • Support the identification of new potential business opportunities, market trends and new products
  • Contribute to overall business activity, including networking at events and conferences
