Rachel Winrow

I have recently completed my Veterinary Nursing Degree at University Centre of Reaseheath. I am looking to pursue a job to become independent in funding and supporting myself through further qualifications studying wildlife. I would ideally like full-time hours as I am studying in my own time.

Throughout my professional journey, I have cultivated essential customer service, organisation, and time management skills working for 8 years in hospitality settings. My progression in my career has led to a team leader role, where I supervised staff, efficiently managed inventory, and meticulously handled financial reconciliations. Growing up scouting, I gradually became a Beaver Scout Leader. Throughout my involvement in scouting, I’ve had the privilege to work closely with children who face learning difficulties and Autism. I have made a positive and meaningful impact by sharing my love for nature, showing empathy, providing support, and encouraging progress among the children I’ve worked with in scouting.I have studied Veterinary Nursing and completed my veterinary placements. I’ve gained valuable insights and skills from working in various animal settings including kennels, zoos, and animal rescues. Additionally, my interest and dedication to studying and caring for animals has led to me completing further qualifications in Wildlife and Farm animal care in my own time.
