Rafael Ferreira

I am a detail-oriented and highly motivated Biomedical Science undergraduate
with hands-on experience in laboratory procedures and a strong foundation in
biological and chemical sciences. I have become proficient in specimen
preparation, laboratory equipment maintenance, and conducting routine tests
and analyses through my accumulated hours of laboratory work while studying.
I am known for meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a
commitment to maintaining high standards of lab safety and accuracy. I am
adept at working collaboratively in fast-paced environments and am dedicated
to contributing to the efficiency and reliability of laboratory operations. After
my 3 years studying Biomedical Sciences and a year experience working in a
fast-paced laboratory role, I seek to further leverage my academic
achievements and practical experience in another laboratory-based role to
enhance patient outcomes whilst expanding my knowledge and passion for this
field of work.

I previously worked at Health Services Laboratories, 1 Mabledon Place, as a medical laboratory assistant in the biochemistry department, for 8 months.

I hold a BSc in Biomedical Sciences, and studied for this at the University of Reading.
