Rahul Baburajan

Masters' graduate with a proven track record in computer vision, natural language processing, computational photography, and deep learning research. Possessing strong coding experience in Python, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.

I hold an MSc in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Aberdeen, where I completed my dissertation under the guidance of Dr. Arabella Sinclair, developing a creative writing collaboration tool using large language models. I earned my B-Tech in Engineering Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.

During my academic journey, I served as a Research Fellow under Dr. C V Jawahar (IIIT Hyderabad) and Dr. Vineeth Balasubramanian (IIT Hyderabad). I then transitioned into a Machine Learning Scientist role at Agara, a start-up dedicated to enhancing customer service experiences using NLP and audio processing through deep learning.

Subsequently, I worked as a Project Assistant at the Video Analytics Lab, IISc Bangalore, under the guidance of Dr. Venkatesh Babu, focusing on the optimization landscape of Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs). After completing my MSc in AI, I joined the University of Aberdeen as a Research Assistant under the supervision of Dr. Yaji Sripada and Dr. Andrew Starkey.

In addition to my research pursuits, I also serve as an AI Consultant at Salus Technical, where I am responsible for developing a Hazop Copilot Tool.

With my diverse experience and knowledge, I am eager to tackle new challenges in the AI and machine learning space.

I've a MSc in AI from University of Aberdeen. For my MSc thesis I worked on creating a creative writing collaborative tool using Large Language Models, which enables prospective authors to write in the style of authors like Robert Burns, Violet Jacobs and Mary Seacole.
