A chartered engineer holding Marine Engineer Officer Class 1 certificate of competency with over 23 years’ experience as chief engineer on almost all types of vessels having most types of engines. Have prepared numerous vessels for class surveys, port and flag state inspections, etc., etc., done many ships buyer inspections/surveys, taken many vessels to dry dock for major repairs, special surveys etc. Well versed and up to date in most rules, regulations and requirements related to shipping, very well versed with maintaining all related safety and quality standards, interpersonal relationships, time management, Technical management, repairs and maintenance, implementing and maintaining systems/policies such as ISM, ISPS, ISO 14001, 27001, 45001, etc., and many more. Have maintained lowest possible downtime year after year on the vessels served. 

Also a partner and technical director of a marine services company doing repair, new building, fabrication works in Cochin Shipyard, Dubai Dry Docks and had recently set up a unit at Duqm Shipyard in Oman. Actively involved in ship repairs, buyer inspections, interviewing new recruit engineers for shipping company etc.

Well versed in budget control, inventory management, preparing and executing Dry Dock Specs, working under tight schedule and heavy workloads, well versed with the usage of most day-to-day computer programs such as word, excel, PPT etc.
