Razan Abbara

I am a licensed Psychologist from Saudi Arabia. I enjoy being a therapist and learning more about how I can help people. I am passionate about research and I strive to become an academic one day, where I can teach psychology to the younger generation, and explore the wonders of the human mind. 

My past experience has been in clinical settings. I have worked with both children and adults, performing mental health assessments, and helping clients with different problems. I enjoy using tools from CBT and ACT therapies, and I find ACT especially unique in helping clients with mood disorders. 

My Master's Degree in Mental Health and Psychological Therapies has been very essential in preparing me for the clinical setting, covering a wide range of important topics in clinical psychology, and introducing to us various different therapies that can help people struggling mentally.
