About Rebekah Phillips:

Proven technical experience in all aspects of Structural Engineering design, development and construction, having successfully delivered resilient and cost-effective projects within the Residential, Retail, Office, Leisure, Education and Industrial sectors over the last decade across the UK and Ireland.

Considerable experience designing in steel, reinforced concrete and timber, including reviewing fabrication information and reinforced concrete detailing drawings.
Key responsibilities:
- produce designs, specifications, calculations, and technical reports to the client’s requirements,
- supervise the production of technical drawings, confirm these show the design intent
- ensure all information produced is quality assurance compliant through technical design reviews, typically in meeting format throughout the stage with a review of the full package of information toward the end of the stage,
- chair multidisciplinary design coordination and review meeting minutes and manage action trackers to ensure all items were closed out
- represent the company at project meetings, and build excellent working relationships with colleagues from other disciplines and external parties,
- led efforts to ensure sustainability was central during specification and construction
- undertake site visits,
- correspond with external parties,
- delegate work to colleagues,
- monitor project performance against plan and budgets,
- support the development of junior staff,
- consider the environmental impact of projects and ensure any risks to the health and safety of everyone involved has been identified and mitigated against.
I am fully versed in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam Revu, Trimble Tekla Structural Designer & Tedds, Trimble Connect, Viewpoint, AutoCAD, Revit Viewer and hold a full UK driver’s licence.
Education
All attributes are signed off for Chartership with the Institution of Civil Engineers, in the process of completing the final report prior to the Professional Review.
