Previously worked with a number of international regulatory organisations, including MAS, HKMA, DOJ, IFC, FATF, and FINCEN.

Conducted extensive EDD, KYC and PEP checks for many international private and investment banks, law firms and financial services companies in Singapore and Hong Kong.

Worked with a global regulator to advise the Cambodian Ministry of Interior – Counter Terrorism & Transnational Crime division in Improving necessary measures and techniques for countering money laundering and terrorist financing and to improve the effectiveness of those controls and improve national-level vulnerabilities.

Financial Services: Previously held regional management positions in financial services with a sound understanding of the industry and a working knowledge of its major products and practices with specific experience and involvement in due diligence and KYC protocols, Fraud Investigations, Asset tracing & recovery, AML (Anti-Money Laundering) & CFT (Counter Terrorism Financing) measures and controls.

Ricardo has lived in and worked throughout South and South East Asia for the last 35+ years at a senior level in financial services and recently in corporate advisory roles, prior to that he worked in investment banking and institutional stockbroking. He has spent many years working closely with private banks, investment banks and international law firms to provide detailed information in relation to anti-money laundering and counter terrorist financing, fraud, KYC due diligence and PEP identification, as well as conducting inquiries for asset tracing & recovery.
