About Richard Davies:
Over 30 years of experience within the oil and gas service industry in various challenging locations. Capable of running and managing small operations to large-scale projects.
Experience
I started in field operations in 1992 in Abu Dhabi. During my field time I gained experience in all aspects of CT operations offshore and on land from simple gas lift and clean outs to milling and CT drilling in conventional and unconventional wells. In 2006 I moved from the field and took up the role of CT Operations Manager with BJ Services in Kazakhstan.
I left BJ and joined OILSERV in 2011 as a project manager / engineer for ROO (BP) operations. I moved across to Well Head Maintenance and set up the department within OiLSERV and ROO (BP).
I moved back into Coiled Tubing in 2012 as the CT and Stim Operations Manager with OiLSERV. I joined MB in Oman as the CT department manager in 2016. I left MB in 2018 and took a few months off with the family before joining NESR in Saudi Arabia as an Operations Manager.
Throughout my career I have maintained a hands-on approach and stayed current with techniques, equipment and challenges. Often spending days on-site whether to support a smooth execution of a challenging operation or to overcome problems encountered.
