In my spare time, I have been making a website portfolio using CSS, HTML, JavaScript and Java, I wanted to make this to put all of my university and personal projects in one place. I have also used a virtual machine within the university to detect and mitigate attacks at a basic level using various tools and methods. I have learned about different types of attacks that can be used against businesses, and techniques to prevent such attacks. I have also used Packet Tracer to build topology networks and computer networks to learn more about networking. I have also made two games for a Programming assignment which used Java. The game involved the use of coding in a professional manner using the programming language JAVA. Learning how to code using indentation, making comments and making difficult coding tasks into smaller more manageable coding was also vital as I made other university coding assignments easier to do and it also helped collaborations with my teammates more streamlined. I am also learning how to use a software called Wireshark which is used to analyse and interpret packet captures while containing the attack traffic, and develop a Python visualisation tool, to illustrate the trends I have found within the data captures I have identified in my Wireshark analysis.
