Maintenance of prevention and high-risk patients both in clinical settings and domiciliary visits. Management of biomechanical patient caseloads including arranging insole prescriptions for manufacture. Nail surgery assessments, conducting nail surgery procedures as well as assessing new patients. Assessment of infected wounds and ulcers, providing appropriate examinations such as toe pressures and reviewing the status of possible Sepsis in patients and approaching these patients holistically and encouraging the use of correct treatment and care.

Management of high-risk wounds both in
community clinics and patient homes including
taking swabs, arranging antibiotics for infections
as well as maintaining routine diabetic patients
and providing treatment for low-risk nail/callous Organise and manage biomechanics patient caseloads and provide treatment plans
suited to their needs. Treating severe in-grown and infected nails include conducting nail surgery assessments, local anaesthetic administration, and nail surgery.
Oct 2021 – July 2022 - Band 5 Podiatrist
- Hertfordshire NHS Community Trust Full-time role in maintaining diabetic patients foot health, including routine treatment: nail- care, callus debridement, corn enucleations for low-medium risk patient caseloads. Duties for patients under high-risk, e.g., wound/ulcer patients, required swab samples to be taken of the lesion, antibiotic medication referral letters to the patient’s GP and appropriate short term dressing applications.
