A qualified broadcast news editor, bulletins writer, presenter, and journalist with 8+ years of experience, expertly editing a variety of news-related materials within ever-changing timeframes. Implements exceptional copy editing to ensure well-verified finished results. Risha is a highly motivated and confident individual - a perfectionist and solutionist at heart. In embracing her passion for the media industry, she successfully fulfilled the position of a radio news anchor/ news presenter at the South African Broadcasting Corporation. In 2015, she relocated to the SABC's head office in Johannesburg where she obtained a permanent position as a radio news bulletins writer. In recent years, Risha has taken steps to develop skills in copy editing for the public broadcaster - a role which required nationwide news reports to be edited and approved for on-air use. She worked as a copy editor for SABC Radio News while still maintaining bulletin writer and radio presenter duties. Risha maintains a wealth of experience in the media industry - including writing and editing skills - proving that she can multitask with the ability to adapt to numerous working environments. Having been employed at a newsroom's head office has helped her develop problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, team-driven environment with a high degree of accuracy.
