About Rita Heaney:
I am a very fit, fun loving, non judgemental, honest, caring 62 year old with over 35 years experience of Community work with various employers. I work equally well alone or as part of a team. I am currently employed in Social Housing, engaging with tenants and encouraging a more environmental friendly environment Something I’m very passionate about. I have worked With people of all ages throughout my career in the area of Health & Social care. Working with people with physical disabilities and mental health issues. I’ve also worked on a child development programme. I am a very family oriented person and have children and grand children whom I spend a lot of time with, teaching and encouraging them about the world around us and the environmental issues that are currently present and passing on my knowledge to them. My hobbies include, sailing, gardening, cooking walking and swimming and again spending time with my family and friends. I am a Cook-it and Food values facilitator. I am also a Complimentary Therapist and practise Reiki and Indian Head Massage.

Group or individual therapy, social events, education and exercise. • Facilitation of different programmes for example 6 week eating healthy on a budget, Self Managing your chronic illness, Delivery of education of your illness. • Advocate for client when /if needed. | Firstly looking after my health by reducing my working hours temporarily to part time until I build my health up to standard again after a life changing operation.
Secondly I am planning a new direction in an area where I cangrow in self confidence & personal development and obtain more future employment opportunities |
