Seeking ESOL/English language work. I am a highly-experienced ESOL tutor and English language teacher, reliably delivering EFL, ESOL and first language English (and more) with Edexcel, Pearson, DfE’s Skills for Life, Cambridge, OCN, AQA, Trinity, Classical, the International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma and PYP programmes, teaching at schools, language centres and colleges abroad and in the UK. I've also taught English lit., Theory of Knowledge and Relevant Theology.
I’ve continually worked immersed with students of all ages and cultural backgrounds, engaging with excellent intrapersonal skills and showing how each can personally best utilise their English.
Supporting students with genuine care, intelligence and humour as a go-to colleague, I also regularly create quality materials as qualified grapic designer-illustrator and I’m musical.
Experience
I've worked teaching ESOL and English Language for twenty-five years in colleges and schools in long stints in the UK, Indonesia and Sweden - all ages and all backgrounds of student, also working in the community.
Education
Whilst more widely and highly educated with two degrees, two diplomas and substantial key training, my direct teaching qualifications are:
Cambridge Certificate of EDUCATION, Module 2 - level 5
Cambridge Certificate for ESOL Subject Specialists - level 4
TESOL Certificate, Trinity College, London
.. all of which is fine, but so is the student-centred, widely-applied experience of successfully teaching English through three decades.
