About Robert Davidson:

I’m a hardworking, highly-motivated, and enthusiastic heritage engineering apprentice who is eager to learn new skills and further develop myself.

I’m completing my own projects in my spare time such as a full restoration on my 1972 Fiat 500L, track upgrades to my 1992 Mazda mx5 Eunos, and recently an engine rebuild on my 2003 Subaru Impreza WRX.

Total Head Turners

July 2021 to current

At Total Head Turners I have been carrying out restoration and servicing work. Working mostly on replica Cobra’s, and Gt40’s, My skills range from;

  • MIG welding/ fabrication and customisation
  • Engine rebuilds
  • General restoration and service work
  • Electrical circuit diagnostics
  • Engine tuning/ carburettor rebuilding

Education

I attained three A levels at Debden Park Sixth form;

A level Physics - D

A level Geography - C

A level Computer Science - B

I am currently completing my mechanical Heritage Engineering Technician standard at the Heritage Skills Academy, I am set to complete in March 2025.
