Hello, 

I am an easy going, friendly individual. I’ve worked as a waitress for the last 3 years. It has suited me whilst caring for my two young children. Now they are slightly older, I am keen to start a career to better myself and to start doing something that I have always wanted to do.

I always meet deadlines, communicate well, and can handle multiple tasks at once. I have enthusiasm and pay attention to everything that comes my way. 

I consider myself as a “people person”. I Get along with everyone, I love caring for people and making people feel better.

Barmaid/Waitress

 I work as a Barmaid/Waitress where my duties range from serving drinks from the bar area to taking food orders and carrying out table service. Often, I have to work on themed nights where I help with decorating and continuing the theme during my shift. I am encouraged to advise customers on what food and drink is recommended for them and how different foods would be available if they have special dietary requirements. At the end of my shift, I will clean down my bar area, glasses, cutlery and table areas to make sure they are ready for the next day. I take pride in my job at every shift I work andalways try to make sure my customers have a nice experience.
 

Southend Hospital: January 2018 to April 2019

-Ward Hostess

 Whilst working as a Ward Hostess I had to make sure I always had knowledge of the patients' dietary needs. My duties included serving patients meals at designated times, replenishing patients water jugs, providing patients with hot/cold beverages and adhering to the red tray system when appropriate, whilst maintaining a high standard of hygiene at all times. The part of the job I loved the most was being able to talk to and sometimes reassure patients and make sure they felt comfortable and happy in what was sometimes a stressful environment for them.

Lydia’s Beauty Spot: January 2016 to January 2018

-Beauty Therapist

 I worked at Lydia’s Beauty Spot where I was a Beauty Therapist. Here I carried out Massages, Facial treatments, Waxing and Shellac Nails. I enjoyed getting to know my clients and this meant I could give them a friendlier more personal experience. I also had to take bookings over the phone, keep the diary up to date and take payments from clients.
