Rose Gibbens

Hard working University student. 

I have worked in hospitality since I was 16, working in cafés and restaurants. I have learnt to communicate with the public, create and pour drinks, take and serve orders and much more. I like to think I am easy to talk to and a hard working member of any team.

I have worked 3 different food services. I started in a small cafe called waves where I would take orders, serve food, take phone calls, as well as making drinks and sandwiches. I then worked at the nice plaice which is a fish and chip shop while also working on my A levels. Here I learnt different ways of communicating in order to gain the best experience for customers and the staff. My latest work has been in a tapas bar called delevant where I learnt to make different drinks, and work behind a bar as well as furthering my skills as a waitress. At my latest work I also learnt about opening and closing the restaurant.

I have gained ABB on my A levels in History, Biology and chemistry form Chichester High School Sixth form. I am now studying a joint honours course in criminology and sociology at the University of Salford.
