Waiter | Harappa

My current job is working at Harappa where I waiter and serve customer the products they want. The products I serve is food and drinks therefore I have to be consistence with what customers want so that I do not get it wrong which could lead to despise. This involves communication as I will need to interact with customers and staff so that the business is running and when the employees are working in a team it is more effective as things are done quicker. I have to offer high quality service and food so that the customers are satisfied with their experience at this restaurant which is important because if the needs of consumers are met they will want to come again. I also set tables with plates, glasses, flatware and refills condiments which makes it organised for customers to use. Customers are also welcomed by me as I will greet them when they enter and assist them with anything they need.

Central Packing – Blue Arrow Shop Direct Shaw

I have been working at shop direct packing since August 4th2018 till September 2020, where I had to pack items from clothing to electronics and accessories. I also used to do overtime on picking floors to ensure I have experience in every task available which will widen my skills for the future. I enjoyed working at shop direct because it gave me the time to myself and my job role was interesting. This was either to pack a single item or multiple products which I checked to see if it was the right order for customers with the right labels. I also used to do house keeping, which is cleaning the area of where I work and when I had no work available ; I was determined to help others to pass the time and make it easier for others.

This job consisted of Very products at shop direct which encouraged us to perform effectively as we were entitled to discounts online however the warehouse had closed down moving to another location due to expansion. I was one of the last remaining workers due to my high standard of work and good attendance therefore was made redundant (paid) when this had happened.

Picker for Scentsy – Radial

From 20th July to 16th  December  I have been working at radial blue arrow in Chadderton which was to pick up certain items according to the customer sheets. The items are scented wax, warmers, fragrance etc therefore the role consisted of focusing to ensure it is the correct products and being able to check for any damages. Moreover, when there was diffusers/warmer boxes that was damaged I replaced the items into a new oneensuring customer satisfaction for quality products. The wax collected by myself had to be not melted as some orders would have high quantity amounts e.g. 50 waxes so had to be in good conditions before shipped out to customers.
