Rose Illingworth

I have been a freelance artist for the last 20 years. I have worked for a wide variety of clients both private and within the events sector, and have worked in a diverse range of locations both in the UK and internationally. Scenic and prop painter for festivals and events from Glastonbury to international touring shows.   I am the founder and lead artist for Art For Action, which has led me to run large mural projects in diverse locations in Africa, South America, Asia, and Europe. These community based mural projects were working alongside fellow organisations and large groups of people of all ages. My mural painting here in the Uk has been a combination of private and public commissions.  I have had several solo portrait exhibitions in the uk. Most recently I am also working as a private art tutor, and running Arts For Well-being course for adults suffering with mental health and  physical disabilities. My experience as an artist and youth worker has given me a wide scope of experience
