About Rowan John:

I am a good team player and am technically very proficient in Illustrator, Indesign and Photoshop and do all the Artworking for print or digital, exercising meticulous quality control.

Experience

A Proactive approach with the ability to work at pace whilst maintaining attention to detail and multi-task. Enthusiastic with strong problem-solving abilities, a curious mind and the drive to deliver great design and artwork with an eye for detail. 

Confident taking and dissecting briefs with the ability to work within clear processes and a workflow management system to manage work effectively and efficiently. 

Strong layout and typography skills and experience working to brand visual identity guidelines, managing timelines and working to tight deadlines.

Have worked in most categories Retail/FMCG/Fashion/Medical/Financial/Automotive.

Experience in an agency and in-house studio environment, editing and creating artwork (within sustainable print production guidelines for print and digital output).

Expert knowledge of Adobe software, print and repro processes and file formatsExpert knowledge of Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.

Organised with a keen eye for detail, a passion for design, interest in popular culture and new developments in technology.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and collaborative and a supportive team member.

Education

Full Matric with University Excemption, BA Fine Arts (Hons) - Incomplete, Diploma in Digital marketing.
