I have over 2 decades experience working in the field of commercial photography, digital imaging,  video production and web/print output. This includes working in photography studios, image editing and design studios. 

Over the previous eight years I was employed as a commercial photographer for one of the UK’s largest educational supplies companies, creating a diverse range of product imagery both in the studio and on location. 

As well as photographing products, I coordinated and managed studio and location shoots with adult and child models, photographed events, headshots, shot and edited videos and podcasts for promotion, advertising and training. I also managed and provided training for members of  staff in studio photography, image editing and retouching. 

During my time in this role I implemented a range of processes that include booking and briefing shoots, the management of stock, booking models, sourcing locations, styling and dressing sets, capture, post process and naming conventions for the upload of images for web and print. I also developed an image coding and archiving system to protect and safeguard models which is fully compliant with GDPR.

This position involved working alongside over 20 product managers, a team of designers,  photographers, agency staff and company directors to develop a house style of photography that  enables a high-profile company to stand out from their competitors. 

I am currently self-employed as a freelance photographer, where I run a commercial studio specialising in creative product photography and brand launches.
