OOOOO X TikTok, Manchester - Livestream Show Producer (Startup)
Nov 21 - Feb 22
- Produced daily live streams for multiple brands across shopping platforms Tiktok & OOOOO App. Liaised weekly with brands, head of production, show planning, e-commerce team, presenters and Tiktok team to ensure audience growth and adhered to ASA regulations.
- Pre-Production: Attended client brief calls with account manager to understand brand concept and define intentional outcome for each show. Wrote crew call sheets, risk assessments, booked models, organised samples and couriers to studio, prepped presenter on product, formatted show sales strategy, helped art team setup studio space, briefed directors on show pace/plan, managed moderators and product team on listing live items before show and prepped runners on daily tasks and tight show turnarounds. Used software Slack to contact the wider team quickly and efficiently.
- Live Production: Ensured the director was live on time using software OBS. Produced live shows encouraging Presenters to engage with commenters and promote products that were popular on the app. Used TikTok dashboard for live analytics and pushed ABV (average basket value) up. Managed moderators and encouraged them to interact with users to keep up show engagement and sales. Helped Presenters struggling with sales pitch and coached them to success feeding product knowledge and reiterating key sales points.
- Post Production: After every show I reviewed the performance. Using the Tiktok dashboard for analysis I was able to deliver the client an overview of their audience growth, sales turnover and understanding of their audience behaviour with post-show feedback. I was able to direct them on what worked, what didn’t and what areas could be improved to ensure the next show was more successful. I also managed the crew in taking down the set, returning samples and ensuring couriers delivered promptly.
- For each brand I produced a show for it was important their tone of voice and style was reflected. Some clients wanted their shows to focus on audience growth whilst others cared about brand activation or community engagement. This required me to be reactive and solutions based during the entire process. Clients included; Zavvi, LEGO, The Fragrance Shop, The Hut Group, Lookfantastic, Maplin, Illamasqua, Bolt Beauty, ESPA, Ameliorate, MIO Skincare, Size?, House of Holland and Glamorous.
