Beyond academia, I have honed my leadership abilities as the captain of my university's American football team, learning to communicate effectively, solve problems dynamically, and motivate team members. My role at Amazon has further refined my organisational skills and time management abilities, as I balance it with my full-time Master's program and sports commitments.

I have an unwavering passion for the sports industry, particularly the business side of American football. However, I am fully aware that the knowledge and skills I've developed, backed by my relentless drive, equip me to excel in any business setting. I eagerly look forward to opportunities that will challenge me and allow me to contribute meaningfully to any organisation.

In my professional journey, I started as a Lead Sports Coach where I had the chance to channel my passion for sports into helping others improve their skills and performance. This role involved a wide array of responsibilities, such as planning and implementing training programs, tracking the progress of athletes, and providing individualized coaching. I also collaborated closely with other coaches and sports professionals to create a conducive environment for the athletes to reach their maximum potential.

In this position, I significantly developed my leadership skills by managing diverse groups and navigating various challenges. I honed my communication abilities as well, effectively coordinating between team members, athletes, and other stakeholders. Problem-solving was another skill I greatly enhanced during my time as a coach as I frequently had to adapt to changing situations and come up with innovative solutions.

Beyond my role in sports coaching, I also hold a position at Amazon, where I work four days a week. This role has allowed me to gain valuable insights into the operations of a multinational corporation. It has exposed me to key business practices and principles and has enabled me to understand the functioning of various departments in a large-scale organization At Amazon, I learned to operate in a fast-paced, high-demand environment, strengthening my time-management and organizational skills. I also refined my teamwork abilities, collaborating with diverse teams to fulfill company objectives. 

I started my educational journey in higher education at Staffordshire University, where I pursued a Bachelor's degree in Sports Development. Throughout my undergraduate program, I demonstrated a commitment to academic excellence, consistently ranking amongst the top of my class. My dedication was rewarded when I graduated with first-class honours.

A significant highlight of my undergraduate study was my dissertation, which was a quantitative research project. The project allowed me to hone my research and data analysis skills, using statistical software like SPSS. The quality of my work was recognized when I achieved the highest grade in my class, a testament to the proficiency I had developed in applying statistical concepts to real-world scenarios.

Motivated by the success in my undergraduate studies and the desire to delve deeper into the business side of the sports industry, I decided to pursue a Master's degree in Sports Business Management. This postgraduate program offered an intensive study into various aspects of business within the sports sector, ranging from finance and operations management to data analytics and strategic planning.

During my Master's program, I continued to excel acadically, graduating once again with first-class honours. A significant component of my Master's study was a module focused on data analytics, which involved interpreting large datasets and applying betting odds to calculate probabilities. This experience further solidified my analytical skills, preparing me for data-driven decision making in my future career.

Beyond the academic coursework, I had the opportunity to attend industry seminars hosted by globally recognized firms such as Deloitte and PwC. These experiences not only enriched my academic understanding but also provided a practical perspective on the application of concepts learned in the classroom.
