About Sahil Patel:

As a student I have developed many skills and abilities which are transferable to the job market and are requirements for a good employee.

Discipline and time management form the core of my capabilities as it is vital for me to meet deadlines for classwork, be punctual and have regular attendance.  I am motivated in everything I undertake and endeavour to be fully committed to and successfully complete my tasks to the highest standard. I take pride in my work, and I am determined to meet and if possible, exceed expected targets. I think change is a way for me to learn and acquire new skills which I may not have considered before. I am very good problem solver and always look to help others when in situations where help Is needed. During my time at stanmore college I was taught a range of technical and procedural skills which helped me to understand how a team setting can work. I also learnt to independently work by myself through many of the research and practical assignments given. This all helped me to shape into a very informative and confident worker who also maintains humble and team working attributes and attitudes.

I enjoy working in a team and appreciate the support we can bring to each other; however, I am also confident working independently and have a flexible attitude to meet the changing demands that a role brings.

As a student being organised is also vital as I am studying a variety of subjects and need to handle those and multi-task, with extra-curricular activities.

I am a good communicator and enjoy meeting new people. I find that I can fit in and get along well with others quickly. Working in jade pharmacy has helped me to expand my customer focused skills and experience and building strong customer relationships. I managed to accumulate 500 pounds at the age of 15 during a week and half working at the shop. This impressed not only the manager but myself and helped me to build some motivation and confidence within my own abilities.

In my free time I enjoy playing football and reading about current world affairs and I am interested as I’m trying to understand the fuller issue behind a headline all the time.
