about providing quality and exceptional care to patients and devising tailored management plans for those suffering with hearing

My duties and responsibilities include:
• Assess and diagnose hearing impairments in adult patients and develop an appropriate treatment plan
• Take history to determine patient’s subjective hearing difficulty and use this to tailor the treatment plan.
• Select, fit and verify hearing aids including BTE’s, ITE’s, Bone Anchored Hearing Aids, Cros and Bi-Cros hearing aids.
• Use Real Ear Measurements, Speech testing, Subjective Evaluation and Outcome Questionnaires to evaluate benefits of fittings.
• Provide ongoing rehabilitation to patients post-fitting ensuring they are reviewed appropriately and have access to a repairs
service.
• Identify and assess candidates suitable for Bone Anchored Hearing Devices.
• Work within a multi-disciplinary team to provide BAHA patients with a smooth and patient centred service.
• To monitor patients post-operatively and review them on a regular basis. To provide a repair service and upgrade the sound
processor when necessary
• To order and maintain BAHA and CROS hearing aid stock
• To complete admin duties in line with routine adult and BAHA work including communicating with professionals from ENT and the
finance department
