I'm based in London and have 15+ years experience in corporate and leveraged finance banking across a number of leading UK banks. I am currently a Director/ Senior Credit Manager in the Leveraged finance credit team at a leading UK bank and am keen to explore opportunities to relocate to the UAE. I'd love to expand my professional experience with a global organisation and also have family in Sri Lanka who I would like to be nearer to.
 

Ideally, I'd like to find a role in Abu Dhabi or Dubai but would consider other areas in the Middle East too.

Senior credit risk professional with 15+ years’ experience across leveraged finance and large corporate banking within leading UK institutions. Currently Senior Credit Manager – Leveraged Finance Risk at Santander UK with personal delegated authority for new deals of up to £15m (LBOs) and £25m (corporates). Extensive experience underwriting complex mid-market and large corporate transactions, including PE-backed structures and syndicated facilities. Strong commercial partner to front office teams, shaping transaction structure, covenant design and downside protections while maintaining disciplined risk oversight. Regular presenter to senior credit committees and chair of early-stage credit appetite and structuring forums.
