Samantha Oddie

Hello, my name is Samantha and I am a recent university graduate looking to start my career. While I have worked as a part time Digital Artist for 6 years during my university years, I would like to take the next step in my career and start working in the service industry to boost my skills and gain more experience in this area and I believe becoming part of your team would be the perfect opportunity. 

I am a highly capable worker and work well under pressure with excellent communication skills and a strong drive to meet customer needs. I am a collaborative team player and am more than willing to put in extra hours of work when needed.

Enthusiastic, conscientious and driven to achieve any task I set out to accomplish. I thrive working under tight deadlines and can easily adapt to any working environment. Currently, I am seeking positions where I can utilise and further develop my skills and abilities.

For the past 6 years alongside my studies at university, I have worked part time as a freelance commission based digital artist where I completed illustrations, character designs and animations various clients.

I also did work experience at Gibson and Jones Veterinary Surgery as a veterinary nursing assistant where I assisted the staff with various tasks including sorting documents, cleaning rooms and disinfecting equipment, prepping animas for surgery/procedures and assisting with customers at reception.

I have most recently graduated from the University of South Wales where I obtained a distinction for my masters in animation
