About Samantha Purdie:

I'm a Paediatric Nurse with a SCPHN(HV) qualification and almost 20years experience of neonatal, paediatric and community nursing. I have specialist qualifications in Child Protection and Perinatal and Infant Mental Health. I am a practice supervisor for trainees and am an accredited RCN Steward. 

I have a additional postgraduate degree in Public Health. 

My work experience prior to nursing included recruiting security staff in Islamabad for contracts in Saudi Arabia. On returning to the UK I worked in banking and insurance in London then as a functions manager for a large hotel chain in Edinburgh.
