This has been a crucial motivator to pursue a career in sport, as I have seen the impact and changes sport-related sessions can have on young lives.

Edge Hill University

As new students began to arrive on campus, it was my role as a student helper to respond to any questions from families and students. The role allowed me to offer existing knowledge of the campus and academic studies to new students. The role required me to remain professional as positive first impressions were crucial. Working with campus staff and peers, the role kept me active and had a hands-on approach to work. I was chosen to load personal belongings onto a buggy and transport them to student accommodation on campus. Therefore, prior to the job role, I completed a manual handling course which provided me Information on how to stay safe in the workplace.

Campus Sport Volunteer 2022-2024
