About Sarah Woodward:

I am currently in my final year at University of Wolverhampton studying Early Years Childhood Studies. I am very passionate about supporting children and giving them the best care available. I specifically like the play side of early years, as i believe it is important to help children express themselves through play. I have come to learn more about this through child development theories, learning frameworks, and learning about the significance of play in promoting physical, emotional, and cognitive well-being.

Throughout my studies, i have gained better communication skills, empathy, creativity, adaptability, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Along side University, i work part-time in hospitality. This has further developed my people skills as well as the skill of multitasking. I really enjoy this job as it has made me in to a more confident individual speaking to people from all ways of life.

Experience

I have experience working in different placements on and off with children age 3-9 years, in nurseries and primary schools.

almost 3 years and ongoing experience in a customer facing role working at a busy fast-paced railway pub in Wolverhampton, where i give high quality customer service serving food and drinks. I pride myself on my communication and punctuality skills.
