I am a qualified Art and Textiles teacher with a degree in Costume design for Theatre and Screen. 

ARTIST AND DESIGNER - Freelance (2019 – Present) 

• Developing artwork that showcases anatomy, posing and character & creature design
• Crafting detailed visual guides for clients, incorporating their creative vision & ideas to create cohesive designs
• Crafting over 25 traditional artworks utilizing a range of media, including watercolour, acrylics and oils, some of which were featured at 2 London galleries
• Optimizing use of Adobe Creative Suite & Procreate to produce high-quality artwork within tight deadlines
• Creating artwork with a wide variety of styles with the ability to adapt and refine styles in response to client feedback
• Designing and constructing costumes and garments for performers and professional sportspeople elevating the visual impact of performances

HEAD OF ART AND DESIGN/TEXTILES TEACHER- The Crest Academy (September 2021 - Present)

• Designing the Art and Textile Curriculum/Schemes of Work for KS3/KS4 exploring the full range of artistic mediums and art history
• Designing engaging and informative educational resources for all protected student groups including students with English as an Additional Language (EAL) and students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to foster appreciation for creative expression
• Effectively managing student behaviour to promote a healthy and safe learning environment for pupils and staff
• Designing and leading the GCSE art course and working towards introducing an A-Level course
• Accurately assessing and moderating GCSE exam submissions leading to no changes being implemented by external moderators
• Developing and overseeing formative and summative assessments for KS3 and KS4 that clearly reflected student learning

• Working directly with clients to design bespoke garments and accessories
• Developing visual guides and mood boards to present to clients
• Attending bridal fairs and shows collating research on trends and popular choices
• Consulting and supporting clients in choosing designs that matched their visions
• Liaising with designers and managing transportations and shipping of dresses and accessories.

STORE SUPERVISOR - Rockport Adidas (June 2016 – April 2017) 

• Operated the store in the absence of the manager, managing and working within a team
• Provided visual merchandising to bring in new customers and boosting sales
• Developed positive relationships with clients and staff which in turn assisted with creating a pleasant working environment which in turn increased regular achievement of the stores set targets.

EVENT SUPERVISOR - The Hospitality Company (September 2014 – June 2016) 

• Supervised a variety of events such as weddings, premieres, private parties and more
• Provided clients with successful and smooth events and the company with regular and returning clients
• Upheld positive relationships with both clients and staff, carefully listening to their needs
• Demonstrated strong leadership and team management skills providing clear briefs and instructions to my team and ensuring smoothly run events
• Demonstrated strong organisational skills managing a high volume of phone calls and other administrative work at the head office.
