I also would keep the customers in the ‘loop’ throughout the whole process from the start, to the handover of the vehicle and then maintaining contact thereafter ensuring retention levels were kept to a high level.

My main role here was to organise events using social media and other marketing tools, from start to finish. I also developed good relations with local organisations offering them company discounts to use when coming into the venue. Furthermore, I managed a team of 8 and ensured the full operation of the bar ran smoothly, keeping customer service at a high priority.

In this role I was a consistent performer and always achieved sales targets. My target was 15 cars per month (5 New, 10 Used) which I exceeded each month with a best month of 26 cars making me top salesman for that month. I really enjoyed my time at this dealership but I was travelling just under an hour each way so I decided to take an opportunity presented to me closer to home.

Car Sales Executive - IMC Cars 

This role was a target driven environment whereby I had to meet monthly targets. I also had to build rapport with customers by understanding their interests and requirements and then matching them to various models. As I possess good people skills, communication and sales techniques I excelled in this field. I would have to meet and greet the customers, qualify them and then having commitment close the sale. Other duties would include promoting finance, warranties etc.

As a key holder my responsibility was to ensure that the restaurant staff are punctual and the kitchen is ready for service. Also ensure that presentation and personal hygiene was always kept to a high standard and as a personal license holder making sure that all documentation and paperwork are to hand and updated regularly. I also have to deal with customer complaints, cashing up and accounts etc.

My role was to quickly and effectively solve customer challenges, maintain quality control and constantly find new ways to improve customer service. Other duties included taking payments, setting up instalment plans using the company software. Also giving customers advice on how to manage accounts effectively and up sell on company products.
