Sehar Naseem

I am a hardworking and passionate about working in the care sector and would be a great fit for your company as I’ve been working in care sector since 2016. My academic and professional background have strong links with the world of medical. My early education Matric and F.Sc which are equivalent to A and O level is in premedical subjects (biology, Chemistry, Physics) and have bachelor’s degree in biotechnology. 

My education has really helped me in improving skills such as working to deadlines and priority timing my workload. I’ve learnt a lot of skills such as how to co-ordinate the ideas and work with the peers using good communication skills. 

Previously, I worked as healthcare worker in Pakistan which I believe has developed and sharped my 6Cs which are essential to compassionate care (care, compassion, competence, communication, courage, commitment). I have experience in working with Dementia care and confidently helped them with their personal requirements. Using my good communication skills, I always ended up in a good relationship with my patients and colleagues. Also worked during Covid pandemic in infection prevention and control department. This has given me skills which fulfil several areas of the job description. 

Currently, I am working with London healthcare locums, where I support elderly people with their daily tasks. Helping people is my passion therefore I’ve completed different courses on how to care people with specific abilities and requirements. Genuine care and respect of the clients’ needs are always my first preference. My team working skills and effective communication skills has made me a good employee for London healthcare locums. I believe my friendly and helping nature is what has made me excel in my current position and I am looking for a company that will allow me to continue to develop my skills and abilities.

Supporting the customer to eat and drink well. Shopping, preparing and serving food and drinks, clearing the table, washing up and keeping the kitchen area clean and tidy, agreeing with the customer how to store food safely and when to dispose of out of date produce. Safely using aids and personal equipment in a manner that respects the dignity of customers. Offer companionship to clients/patients to keep them comfortable. Transporting the clients to medical appointments and helping them to run errands. Monitoring client health conditions and reporting any health related concerns to line manager.
