About SERGIO TORRES:
Currently, I am becoming a Master of Laws, focusing upon information technology and intellectual property law, with a necessary reflection upon international law, and a special attention upon international human rights law.
Before coming to the United Kingdom, I graduated of two degrees in Mexico, in law, and commercial relations respectively, and achieved a vocational grade in informatics, I additionally do have experience performing in both public and private sector, and even as entrepreneur.
All together has gradually enabled me to generate criteria and strategic thinking considering different standpoints in a global world, reason why I am constantly hunting challenges that encourage me to use them, particularly in technology matters.
My experience involves legal advice in intellectual property governance, and assisting its litigation at a renowned IP law firm in Mexico; I also supported federal authorities during revision of customs law section on international agreements, and the application of substantive sports law; then employment law by assisting litigation in federal and local tribunals; and notarial law assisting notaries by drafting both national and international legal documents.
