Experience

In my role as a Cloakroom Manager, I’m tasked with the smooth operation of the cloakroom at a lively entertainment venue. My daily responsibilities include warmly greeting guests, managing their belongings with care, and ensuring they are returned safely. I issue tickets, handle payments, and maintain an organized space. Despite the challenges, such as managing a high volume of guests during peak times, addressing their expectations, and maintaining security, I tackle each day with a focus on providing excellent customer service. Unexpected situations are part of the job, but I’m always prepared to manage crises efficiently. This role has honed my ability to stay composed under pressure and has taught me the importance of balancing efficiency with a friendly demeanour

When I encounter difficult guests, my approach is to always remain professional and empathetic. I make sure to listen carefully to their concerns, ensuring they feel heard and understood. Keeping my composure is key, no matter how challenging the situation may be. I empathize with their frustrations and apologize if there’s been a mistake, offering practical solutions to address their issues. It’s important to me to clearly communicate any policies that may be relevant to the situation. If things don’t resolve, I’m prepared to call on a supervisor or security for assistance. My aim is to handle every situation with grace and to find a satisfactory resolution for all involved..

As a student eagerly awaiting my GCSE results, the anticipation is a mix of nerves and excitement. The culmination of years of study, the exams were a significant milestone in my educational journey.
